Welcome to the July edition of RossNews. It is pleasing to see that in a number of our operating locations, some of the now famous “green shoots of recovery” seem to be appearing a little more consistently, and we very much hope this means that it will be Good Riddance to an extremely challenging fiscal 2009. Many of our client organisations have indicated that they expect their activity to pick up in 2010 and this, coupled with some more optimistic comments from the IMF and the US Federal Reservice provide an opportunity for some optimism that we are indeed reaching the bottom of the economic conditions that have been challenging so many organisations.
In this issue we discuss some interesting progressions in Virtual Learning and review an interesting Human Capital Institute study on the use of Contingent Labour, amongst a range of other interesting Recruitment and HR related subjects.
