Storage Support Senior Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:
·Work on shift to enable 24x7 supports of all company's storage and backup systems. The candidate will work from a queue and ensure that all resolutions are met within the agreed SLA.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Working from queue to resolve SAN and Backup related issues
· Ensuring that all problem tickets meet agreed SLA's
· Ensuring that all devices are at the latest OS / Firmware levels
· Maintain daily communication with teams within the business and IT to ensure progress is made on outstanding issues

REQUIREMENTS:

· Graduate Degree with 2-5 years experience in IT systems (or relevant combination of education and experiences)
· Willing to work 12 hour shifts
· Familiar with SAN topology and storage concepts
· Experience in SAN zoning, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting required
· Working knowledge of Dell, EMC, & Quantum/ADIC Hardware Products (CX, AX, DMX, CDL, i500 & i2K)
· Working knowledge of EMC Software Products (EMC Control Center, Navisphere, Timefinder & Legato Networker)
